The scale was up a bit today, but that’s okay because I took new measurements and in the last month, I’ve lost 1″ off my bust and a 1/2″ off my waist. The last month that half of it the scale did not move at all to speak of! And even though it was up a bit, I’m still showing a loss for the week. :) And that 1/2″ off my waist puts me 1/2″ from being able to mark off my “lose 4″” goal. I also met up with Alix at WalMart and she got our dogs a new water bucket (they haven’t had outside water for like a week; luckily they aren’t outside very much, but I’m a bad mommy, I know) and a new bathroom scale. The new scale weighed me in at 1.1 pounds heavier than the old one, but it also shows a difference in my weight between being naked and being fully clothes with shoes on- the old scale only showed a difference between those two states sometimes. That’s not really acceptable. It also tracks body fat and water percentages, which I’ll be curious to see how that changes over time. I’ve recreated my weekly progress page to reflect all the things I have been tracking, as well as weight changes. Its kind of packed, but its a one-stop look at everything.
Breakfast was coffee & a yogurt, which was later followed by a can of soup for lunch. Nothing exciting there. Dinner was a repeat of a few nights ago- chicken, leftover mashed potatoes, carrots, and gravy. I figured we should eat the potatoes before they went bad and I had to throw them out. I really, really hate throwing away perfectly good food just because no one ate it in time.
I vacuumed the rest of the house, and Mattie did some car work today, replacing some body panels on someone’s car after it was in an accident. The fender doesn’t match in color but otherwise it looks good- way better than when it came here. We were supposed to go out to my Mom’s after the girl came to pick it up, but she took over 2 hours to get here, and then it was too late to go out there. Maybe we’ll go out tomorrow instead.
After dinner, I had a banana, and Mattie decided he wanted brownies. I ran to the store and read all the labels for half a dozen different brownie mixes and ended up with my favorite ones anyway. I cut the brownies into 2 more pieces then I usually do to make a smaller serving, and we each had one. That pretty much concluded the day.
