Today, being Sunday, was weigh, measure, and vacuum the house day. That put me down 1.4 pounds form last Sunday, an inch off of my bust, and half an inch off of my waist. That was the good part of the day. Then I decided to vacuum. I did the whole house, pulled the canister off to dump it, and it was completely empty. EMPTY. Crap. Its got a clog somewhere. Not in the hose. Not near the canister. The clog is in the head. I found a screwdriver, unscrewed the coupling that connects the hose through the head to the hose that runs to the canister, and shoved a flyswatter handle in there. It was like hitting a block wall. Five minutes later I had what looked like about two canisters worth of hair and dirt all over the floor. I picked it up, tossed it in the trash, and started the vacuum. Hey, what do you know, it works now! Then I vacuumed the entire house again. Ugh.
Food was okay today, not great, and fat was a little high, but otherwise alright. Okay, fat was a lot high. Mattie decided he wanted steaks tonight, so steaks we had. He also wanted pudding for dessert, but it wasn’t ready by the time we were almost ready for bed tonight. That’s probably a good thing though.
I also sat down and figured out a dinner menu for every night from now until June 2nd. The plan is to stick to it, and try at least 2 new recipes each week. One of my goals this year is to try 36 new recipes. I did 5 in January, and that was it. Hopefully that will get back in track too and I can start marking that goal off some more.

Mike asked a good question the other day- I’ve been away from the gym for 2 weeks- when am I getting my ass back in there again? I was planning on playing an hour of DDR tonight, but for assorted reasons (go ahead, call them excuses) it didn’t happen. Tomorrow I need to pick up an Rx but I have absolutely nothing planned. So, I am going to try to do something tomorrow, even if its just walk around the block. Anything is better than nothing, right?
