First off, I am super, super sorry for not posting for three days and for not doing any reading (or commenting!) on any of your blogs for even longer than that. I’ve been in a major slump of sorts the last week or so, and making my daily posts here has not been a priority even though it would only take me ten minutes too do it.
I haven’t worked out in over a week. I’ve barely managed to vacuum the house the last two weeks. Laundry has stagnated in the basket until we’re pretty much completely out of clothes. I’ve barely managed to feed us dinner, and have even slacked on grocery shopping. The dogs have complained about late dinners all week. I just haven’t wanted to do shit.
What the heck have I been doing? I’ve been reading a lot. I worked up a new beading pattern and I am nearly done with a pair of earrings and a necklace from it. I’ve also watched an insane amount of The Big Bang Theory with Mattie- we’re in the first bit of season three now. I’ve also edited and listed a few more beading patterns for sale in my shop.
So… let’s back up a bit. Wednesday’s eats come first.

Wednesday was actually pretty god on food. Calories were in range, fat was low, points were almost spot on.
Now to Thursday. Thursday was not so good.

I was all over the place, way high on calories, fat was too high, and just not a good food day. If I had had one less piece of pizza for dinner (we went out- I threw out the ideas of pizza and Subway and he chose pizza) I would have been much better on my end of day numbers. I really did try though. I researched the menu before we left and I made a list of options I could eat without breaking the calorie bank. Then we go there and none of my actual options I’ve piked out ahead of time were actually on the menu so I just had to wing it. At least since it was pizza, I wasn’t hungry for the rest of the night for anything.
Today was a little better on food, but not as good as Wednesday. I spent most of the day in the craft room working on stuff, and playing with beads, though picking up my prescriptions today posed its own issues. I tried calling in the refills last night, but their phone system was down so I called them in this morning. This afternoon, I went to pick them up only to find that I didn’t have a refill on the one I need the most. I went to the clinic to see if there was any way there could fit me in with my doctor (turns out he’s not in on Fridays) or with any other doctor. The woman at the desk pretty much told me this was my fault, that I wouldn’t be out of meds a week before my next appointment if I hadn’t missed my regularly scheduled appointment. WTF?!? Really? I have never missed an appointment with them in the 5 years I’ve been going there. I’ve always been super careful not too do that. Then she suggested I go to urgent care and ask them for medication. Um… urgent care does not and will not hand out psychiatric medications under any circumstances. She then suggested I go to some clinic down in Los Angeles. She was completely unhelpful and treated me like I was an annoyance she was forced to deal with. I ended up asking the pharmacy to spot me meds for the next week to get me through. They gave me 7 capsules, and with the 2 I already had here, I can get through til Thursday when I can pick up my new Rx if I take half doses on two days. Not happy about this but not a lot else I could do about it.

Wow, a lot has happened to you in the last few days. So glad the pharmacy was willing to work with you after having to deal with that awful lady. She is too rude to be working with the public. She needs a job locked in a dark closet color coding paper clips.

Its not because I’m not thinking of you! I just haven’t visited anyone lately. :( I’m remedying that right now though!
The plan today is vacuuming the house and my craft room- when I’m back there I let the dogs come in and out as they please (otherwise they have a very distracting fit outside the door) and they track in so much dirt! Yuck!
The pharmacy… They are fantastic! I cannot say enough good about them!
