After last week’s slight gain I was very happy to see a 3.3 pound loss for this week! I was also glad to get a little sleep last night, though I was still exhausted this morning and didn’t take Mattie lunch today at work. Just too tired with the lack of good sleep thanks to the shortage on my meds. I felt bad, but I would have felt worse if I’d shown up cranky and bitchy.
Food was… eh… today. Fat was high (thank you salad) but I was way under on calories. I stayed sort of busy most of the day so didn’t think about food much. After I got up this morning, I put in some time in the back room and finished up the tukibird earrings, and then it was way too hot out there so I came in for a while. I was in and out of the house for most of the afternoon, and actually left for ten minutes to buy plastic bags to put the chicken I still hadn’t put away into and in the freezer. I got as far as putting the socks in the clean laundry away and that was it. I vacuumed Sashi’s muddy paws prints up off the carpet in the back room.
After we had dinner (salad for me, leftover pizza for him) I went back to the craft room and started on a new pattern. I had several to try out, and I let Mattie pick- he chose the red and black butterflies. This time I used all transparent AB finished beads, so all the colors are muted but sparkly. The dark grey I used instead of black looks blueish, and as a result my butterflies are rather “American-looking”. Still, there turned out nicely, and I didn’t run into any real snags working the pattern. Tomorrow when I get up I’m going to do the other butterfly pattern and maybe the cowboy boots one in the evening.
