Hello everyone! Making last night’s post this afternoon, and then tonight I’ll be back for my regular post today. Food was really good Saturday all the way up until we decided to go for a movie. I thought I was only going to be a little over for the day, as I still had a couple hundred calories left, but still ended up way over once I finally found the actual nutritional info for Cinemark’s popcorn. I may have overestimated how much of the popcorn I ate, but I’d rather be over then under when I’m not sure.
We went and saw Man With the Iron Fists, which was hilarious. Everything was so overacted, and the main bad guy, Silver Lion, was channeling Labyrinth’s David Bowie so hard I could almost see the bulge in his pant. Don’t believe me? I’ll show you in a minute. The movie was filled with insanely fake sounding moans and cries, all of which made most of the people in the theatre laugh hysterically. Most of the movie took place in a whorehouse, and while there was quite a bit of sex scenes, there was absolutely no nudity in the movie. Not so much as a butt. There was tons of people floating and flying through the air, over the top kung fu stuff, blood spraying everywhere, and it was pretty much exactly what you would expect from a movie when you put Quentin Tarantino and cheesy old kung fu together. Even this actor’s speech patterns were just like Bowie’s in Labyrinth. It was ridiculous (like the entire movie actually) but it fit in perfectly. And we loved it! Anyway, too much popcorn but for once it didn’t give me heartburn so that was a relief.

The numbers aren’t bad this week. I didn’t get any exercise, but I was actually under my goals most days this week and the two days (I think) I was over didn’t do too much damage. I’m going to sign off for now and I’ll be back tonight for the regular Sunday post.
