Wednesday Day 404 Food Diary

Hello friends! Today was a good day. I did some beading (a lot of beading), had a new low on the scale this morning, cooked a fairly healthy, low-calorie dinner, stayed well within my goals, and got some new likes on the Kittyloaf Designs Facebook page. I also received the jacket I ordered from IGIGI thanks to Emmie’s giveaway that I won, and it is so pretty! I spent quite a bit of time on the site browsing, and was trying to find something I both really liked, and would basically use up all the gift card, and not more because I’m pretty broke right now. I also scored a 15% off coupon so that helped too. Tomorrow night is Thanksgiving, and I’m planning on wearing it over a dress I’ve owned for a while. I’ll take a picture then to share with you guys.

The beading I did today went really well, and I made two new pairs of earrings. They are both old-school Nintendo themed, and would love to go home with someone this holiday season. You can see them here.

As I said, food was really good today. I stayed within my limits, even with a late night snack of yogurt. I’m going to try to stick to my regular routine of coffee and yogurt in the morning, and if I can, escape to my craft room for a few hours to work on things and keep myself busy until I have to be around the food. I think I’ve talked about this before, but my biggest issue with food is that if it is in front of me, I feel like I have to eat it. I don’t feel like there is an option of saying no or just ignoring it. I just start eating and I can’t stop. This is the part of me that dreads parties because I can’t seem to stop myself.

Anyway, tomorrow we are having turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade bread rolls, stuffing, maybe sweet potatoes, and of course, pie. We picked up two pumpkin and one lemon mer- um, yeah. I can’t even spell that well enough for spell check to help me out. You know what I meant. The plan is to stay out of the kitchen as much as possible and as long as possible. Okay, enough Thanksgiving day plans. Here’s today’s food diary.
