Thursday Day 419 Food Diary

Another 3 months have passed. How can you tell? I changed the site up again. I’ve switched up the look roughly every 3 months for the last year. I like it, I hope you like it, and in ten more pounds, I’ll be swapping out the second little me up there for a new one. I also managed to get most of my favorite foods in there that are good for me. Chicken, shrimp, pork (I really don’t care that much for beef most of the time), tomatoes, apples (not my fave but they make a fantastic snack and I eat them pretty often or make applesauce), and onions. Yes, onions. I eat the purple ones like candy if I’m using them in a recipe (hardly any of it actually makes it into the food)- and I will add them to nearly anything. I have yet to eat one like an apple, but it wouldn’t surprise me if one day I did. I had a few other ideas for the new look, but unless I wanted to drastically change up my content, they really wouldn’t work well and a big part of my goal here to keep things user-friendly.

In the afternoon, I decided to go out and take a walk, and attempt to do week one/day one of C25K. What actually happened was I did 4 sets of the running and then got a stitch in my side, and suffered trying to breath for the almost mile long walk home. Part of me wants to try it again maybe Sunday or Monday (we’ll be busy all day Saturday and I will be busy most of Sunday) but part of me wants to curl up and die. Obviously I am not just going to jump right back into this like I never stopped!

Food was not so good today. I went way over, but most of the overage was liquid calories. After dinner, Mattie and I split a bottle of wine. We tried the Black Swan merlot this time, which while was about the same price as the Rex Goliath merlot we tried last time, wasn’t as good to me. One day I am going to buy something besides a merlot and get out of my comfort zone. Obviously I am not good at wine- I just like the occasional glass. :)

I had eggs and yogurt for breakfast and after my walk/run, I had yogurt again. Dinner was hot dogs in mac n cheese, which is one of the most delicious kid food meals in the world. Its also insanely high in calories and I feel like I gained five pounds from eating it. There’s still quite a bit of leftovers too, which I may have half of them for breakfast tomorrow or I may serve it was a side split between us at dinner tomorrow night. Mattie’s had a rough week with working a shit ton of overtime this week, and he requested the wine. I couldn’t just pour him a glass or two, so we ended up splitting the bottle (750 ml).

This weekend will be busy as we are going to a 4 wheeling toys for tots charity thing on Saturday and I have my craft thing on Sunday- I still haven’t decided exactly what I am going to take with me on Sunday besides “stuff.”

I moved some more furniture today to vacuum around and behind it- that seems to be my new thing lately. Vacuuming behind furniture. Tomorrow I’ll need to finish patching up the vinyl on Mattie’s Jeep so its done before Saturday morning, and pick up my Rxs in the afternoon. I should have a ride there since Mattie will have my car, but if not, its not a far walk. I just hate crossing the two busiest streets in town on foot. Its seriously scary, and people drive like jerks out here.

    Every day can’t be perfect just try to average it out. I really like the new look especially the outline of the change in your weight loss. Fantastic!

      Yeah. The end of week numbers weren’t so bad as I had a few days I stayed way low. And thanks! I can;t wait to make a new outline to replace the second one!
