I received several packages today. One was my shelf set up for the bedroom (its this if you’re curious- my parents installed these years ago in the bedroom and another type of units in my closet and they’re great! I read over the directions for installing the shelf unit, and I’m sure I could install it myself, but Mattie talked me out of doing it and asked Richard to do it instead. I know it will get done right, but I kind of wanted to do it myself.), and the other two were my packages from Joann’s. I had to meet my mom at her work to get the latter two packages because Joann’s decided they would ship my stuff to my billing address for the card I used, which is most definitely not where I live. I haven’t lived there in 3 ½ years. In those boxes, I got a box in pins, which I desperately needed because of my bad habit of sewing over them, and they end up terribly bent, a rack to keep my spools of thread on, which showed me that I have an insane amount of green thread, as well as baby blue, but not much else, and a 9″ round cake pan. I love my little silicone cupcake cups I usually use for cornbread, but I’ve really been wanting a round pan so I can cut slices of cornbread when I make it instead. The same as when I make lemon pound cake- it just looks nicer as a slice rather than a cup. :)
Food has been…. eh. Okay. I woke up starving today and have been eating pretty much since I woke up. I just could not seem to feel satisfied until dinner time no matter what I ate. The good thing is I didn’t stuff myself with absolute crap today- the ramen was the worst of it I think. Dinner was chicken breasts baked with the Walmart brand shake ‘n’ bake stuff, broccoli, and pasta. It was good, but not really what I wanted. What did I want? I have no idea but that wasn’t it. I did get my two servings of veggies in today though.

I spent most of the afternoon today making backups of my work files, and wiping out the 1T or Wii games I had on a hard drive to use it instead for storing my TV and movie downloads. I dumped all my TV shows which are currently on hiatus or finished onto the drive and deleted them form my computer, as well as copied all of my digital movies onto it and deleted a lot of those form my computer as well. That cleared up around 100 gigs of space on here. I still have about 750 gigs of space left on what is now the media hard drive that’s hooked up to my media player and the TV.
I don’t have much else to report here today. Watched a few movies, and tomorrow I need to do some beading for a friend’s commission, but that’s all I’ve got planned. She’s ordering three pairs of earrings form me- two I already have made up, plus one pair that are custom. I thought about walking around the neighborhood this afternoon after coming home from meeting my mom but Richard came home talking about how he thought some dude was about to pull a gun on him a block up the street, and I changed my mind. I hate this neighborhood!
Anyway, that’s all. Tomorrow you’ll probably get to hear all about how much I love my new shelf and “closet” and how much stuff I’ve hung up on it and stacked on top! I cannot wait to get started with my new organizing project and the clean-up I’ll be able to accomplish in the bedroom. I have big plans there. 8)
