Sunday was a long day. I woke up earlier than I wanted to. My plan was to sleep all damned day and completely miss all the yelling and screaming over the football game, but instead I was wide awake before 9am. A few hours after that, Mattie went out to go get his brother and bring him home from the hospital, give them all of my baking I did the other night, pick up his Rxs, do some grocery shopping for them, and a few other things. He was gone almost six hours. When he finally made it home, we had a dinner of pasta, chicken, broccoli, and spaghetti sauce, topped with some Parmesan cheese. It was good, and after dinner I ate one of the two corn bread muffins I had held back from his Dad and brother’s goodie bag. I had been worried they wouldn’t be very good, but they were actually really good, especially with a tiny bit of butter and heated up. After that I worked on downloading a few files, and then we went to bed. I wanted to go to the gym too that day, but I am coming down with Mattie’s cold he had last week, and my lungs feel heavy and my throat is scratchy and dry. I just don’t feel good.
Monday started out a lot better, with me waking up early, and stepping on the scale to see I was back in ONEderland again! I paid most of the month’s bills, and heading out to go grocery shopping. I got almost everything on my list, minus a few items that weren’t a requirement (we’re having burgers later this week and I had sliced cheese on the list, but we don’t need it). I feel like I didn’t get a lot for the $48 I spent, but there were a few extras on the list that I did get. One of them was a pair of Cornish game hens that we’ll eat on Thursday night, which I think are kind of silly (for the same price you can get a real chicken!) I also picked up 2 pounds of hamburger that went into my new (to me) Tupperware hamburger press to make burger patties for later in the week. I was way more excited to get that in the mail today then any normal person should be!
Anyway, back to Sunday. My food diary was pretty good. I didn’t go overboard, but I was a little high on my calories. Does that bother me? Not for Sunday. Look at the breakdown of my calories or the day. Its great!

My fat was perfect, not too high, and not so low as for me to have major food cravings the next day, protein was spot on, and carbs weren’t insanely high. I am really, really happy with how the day broke down.
Monday was good, but not great. I screwed up with the pasta tonight, and my fat was higher than it should have been, but calories were almost spot on where they should have been.

So, the last two days have been pretty good as far as food goes, and if sitting on my butt in front of the TV for most of today counts, than that’s good too… lol. Nothing else to say tonight, so closing this and will see you all tomorrow! And tomorrow we get back to our regular produce deliveries again! Yay!

Gosh, how good are you with all that food analysis…I AM dieting, but I don’t manage to get down that type of detail.

LOL I actually have an excel spreadsheet that does most of the figures for me- I just plug in info off of the nutrition panels on the packaging. Makes it super easy to track that way!
