Tuesday Day 487 Food Diary

I went to bed an hour ago, then got back up because I wanted to post this, and I really wasn’t tired yet. Before crawling into bed, I stepped on the scale and it said 197.3, which means it should say pretty awesome things in the morning after I’ve done some overnight calorie burning. I’m really excited at how close I am to the 193 pound mark, as that’s the lightest I ever got to in my previous journey to lose the weight. When I surpass that mark, it’ll be kind of a big deal for me because I will have made it further than I ever did before an that will feel like a bigger accomplishment then the fact that I did lose those 5+ pounds all over again.

Today was a quiet day. I didn’t do much besides sit curled up with a book for about half the day, on and off, and I got about as much reading done as I had planned on. I finished the February issue of Asimov’s Sci-fi magazine, started the March issue, and also started on Sex at Dawn: How We Mate, Why We Stray, and What It Means for Modern Relationships, which while I’m only about as far as the introduction, is already promising to be very interesting. The goal was to read 75 pages today, and I am pretty sure I came close. Between Sex at Dawn and the March issue, I got about 60 pages done, and I can’t remember where I was at last night on the February issue before I picked it up again this morning.

Food was good today, in the sense that I did what I did on Sunday and didn’t eat all my P+. I left 6 P+ uneaten on Sunday and 5 P+ uneaten today. I am a little hungry now, but I hate eating close to bedtime, and honestly, I’m not so hungry as to be kept awake by an unhappy stomach, and I won’t be any hungrier than usual when I wake up tomorrow. I did think I was going to be way over on my P+ today for some reason, and I was relieved to see that that’s not even close to true.

When I say I had 5 and 6 P+ to spare in the previous paragraph, I’m estimating. As I think I mentioned the other day, I went ahead and ordered a P+ calculator online as when I went to recalculate my P+ allotment the other day, I realized there was a large discrepancy in the number of P+ I should be getting from site to site. Some showed me with as many as 33 and some showed me with as few as 29, and that’s a pretty big difference. I’ll feel a lot better when I get the calculator ad can have an “official” number. One thing I definitely am is a stickler for details, especially when it involves numbers, and this is no exception.

Tomorrow afternoon I have a dental appointment, which I am looking forward to. For some reason I’m feeling really good about this visit, more so then normal. I’m also probably one of the few people who enjoy the dentist. The only thing I don’t like about it the fact that I can’t see what they’re doing in my mouth, but I don’t get nervous or tense or agitated. I did have the one freak out a few years ago when they told me I had periodontal disease and my teeth would end up falling out, but that’s not the fault of the dentist.

After that I need to go pick up my Rxs and also mail a package out. I sold a sewing pattern yesterday evening from my Kittyloaf shop and need to get it in the mail. Dinner tomorrow night is salmon, rice, and some sort of veggies. I’m honesty not sure what veggies I even have in there right now so may need to make a quick run to the store as well. I plan on walking to both the dentist and the post office though, as they are both about 3 blocks away from the house, though in opposite directions- easy walking distance.

I also ordered something for Mattie on Amazon, but unfortunately realized after I placed the order that its the wrong item- its an HD DVD and apparently it will only play in a special HD DVD player, which we do not have. I’ve sent a request to cancel the order, so hopefully its not too late for that.
