Saturday Day 498 & Sunday Day 499 Food Diary

ww-02232013Last week did not end well, and I know why. I know at the end of the day I lost my resolve and I ate some things I should not have eaten. I regretted them immediately afterwards, but by then it was already done. I had a bag of popcorn after dinner while we watched a movie, and later after Mattie went to bed, I had two yogurts, which thanks to the sugar left me with an upset stomach. I have absolutely no reason to give for eating those things, especially since I wasn’t really that hungry, and it was just one poor choice after another. The whole time I kept asking myself Why are you eating these things?, yet I didn’t stop. Obviously I wasn’t very surprised by my bad weigh in this morning. Am I going to post those numbers today? No. I’m going to weigh and measure again tomorrow morning and hope for the better. Its kind of a cheat, but its what I am going to do.

Today was much better in terms of food. I stayed within my limits, ate plenty of fruits and veggies, and I kept carbs down to a minimum. I fixed a Chicken Helper Chicken Lo Mein for dinner, to which I added about 5 sliced carrots (I love my food processor!) and an entire head of green cabbage. That made it make three big meals instead of two, so I fed Richard as well. I also had quite a bit of ground ginger into it, and it tastes so much better than just making it according to the box’s directions. After dinner I wanted something sweet, so I had some pineapple, and later a hot cocoa, and was satisfied with that.

Tomorrow I start a class I signed up for at the Canvas Network on Social Media. The instructor has posted the reading list, and I’ve made my pick (we just have to choose one to read) and ordered it. In April, I also start another class with them in Gender Through Comic Books, which  think it going to be a lot of fun. I’ve really been wanting to go back to school again lately, so this is kind of a “feeling the waters” thing to see if this is what I really want to do before making a more solid commitment. If I do go back to school, I want to take the one computer graphics class I need to finish up that line of study, and I want to take several psychology classes as well as maybe a PE class.
