Sunday Day 582 Food Diary

Sunday, the day I usually weigh and measure myself and have wonderful things to say. That day is not today. After last night’s feasting on the amazing dip Tracy made, I was not getting anywhere near the scale this morning. Not happening. I pretty much blew it off completely in favor of working on a new project, tearing apart some old sewing to try and make it better, and sitting on my butt for most of the day. I also had a moment of minor panic when I realized we had nothing in the house to eat (okay not really) except a lot of meat in the freezer, and what was I going to have for breakfast?!? :shocked: I finally settled on oatmeal, noting that I am almost out of oatmeal and need to order some more. The oatmeal was dressed up quite a bit with cocoa powder, a bit of sugar, and some milk. I usually skip the milk out today it just sounded good, so there’s another couple of Points+ on my day. I was already headed towards a bad-looking food diary today.

Dinner was an almost delicious mash-up of chicken breast, green beans, carrots (both freshly prepared), “gravy” made from chicken broth and a touch of flour, topped with a can of biscuits, and baked until the biscuits were done.  Unfortunately I used way too much bullion and my gravy was super salty. I ate it, I was hungry, but it just wasn’t that good to me, mainly because I really dislike salty foods. The only thing I actively add salt to is I sprinkle some on my asparagus. I have no idea why- it just tastes good that way. Mattie said dinner was good though, so he can have the leftovers.

That put me pretty high up on P+, and I followed it with dessert of a fudge pop, which doesn’t add up to much. All in all, it wasn’t too bad of a day, and compared to the two days we ate out last week, and all that delicious dip we ate last night, today was positively tame and completely on track. Here’s today’s food diary.
