Today was (finally) a good day on food (yay! happy food diary!), though it was not without temptations. I am so flustered with the scale since midway through last week and its time to make a real effort to get back on track. I do not like seeing the scale so high after I’ve worked so hard to get it so low, and I still have a ways to go. I had a doctor’s appoint today with my psych doctor, and we discussed the ups and downs of my recent manic episode- the obvious ups are that I felt fucking amazing the whole time, was super productive, made lots of stuff, finished projects, and was maybe obnoxiously cheerful. The downs are obvious- I don’t sleep more than an hour or three a night, and I tend to spend a lot of money I do not have.
I also made a quick trip to my mom’s house to pick up some old sewing I want to tear down and repair or re-sew properly, some regular clothes that actually fit now, and some shoes I’ve been missing. I’m looking forward to wearing the shoes (its two pairs of wedges) and even more so looking forward to fixing my previously craptacular sewing projects. There’s a jacket in that lot in particular I really want to finally be able to wear- when I first sewed it, I failed to cut the right size, and then I did such a crap job of putting it together…
Anyway, here’s today’s food diary. I stayed just under my limits for the day by some miracle, and I’m not hungry here at the day’s end.
