Let’s start this post with the weekly wrap-up. I’m not super proud of this one (okay really not proud at all!) but it could have been a lot worse and now that I’m seeing the numbers I’m glad I got those three workouts in this week because it would have been a lot worse! As it is, I’m still averaging about 2 Points+ per day over my limits, even with my weeklies added in, and it would have been 4 if not for the 15 APs I earned. I started this week with three really bad days on food, and it was just a mater of trying to stay above water from there on out, which I mostly did- three days this week were really good, and one was so-so, but those first three killed it.
Mattie couldn’t sleep last night and kept me awake for most of it, so I really only slept after he got up, and I didn’t wake up until about 1pm. I had these “big” plans to watch a documentary about a Chinese sweatshop, and then do a workout video, but instead I ended up doing a lot of nothing until he got home from work. I fixed spaghetti for dinner, and afterwards Joann came by and picked me up and we went to Joann’s (the fabric store- not her house lol) and looked for fabric to make her a purse. She had a hard time choosing, but she eventually settled on these at left. The two on the left will be for one side, and the two on the right will be for the other side. I actually picked the two on the left for her more or less because they just looked so pretty next to each other and I happened to point them out. She also ended up buying the last bit of fabric on one of the bolts for me as if you take the last yard on the bolt, or less if that’s all there is, you get it for 50% off. Not sure what I will use it for yet, but sure I’ll come up with something.
I also bought a yard of this fun fabric while we were there, which I’ll be making myself a new purse from. I haven’t decided yet on a lining color, but I’m thinking orange. Yellow would work too, but really feeling the orange here. I’m not sure if I will use my existing purse pattern or try to come up with something new for this one- I kind of want a bigger purse this time, but we’ll see.
After she dropped me back off at home, I changed out of my “real” clothes and into… well, I took off the outside-appropriate clothes- and decided to play some DDR. In my underwear. Because it was too damned hot to do that with clothes on. I literally lasted 19 minutes and a some odd seconds before I gave up because I was actually feeling dizzy from being overheated. Not much of a workout, but I did earn 3 APs for it, so not a total failure. I’m kind of glad the day worked out like it did because it meant I was forced to do something besides that Jillian Michaels’ video as my muscles need a rest and cardio is an easier one in that regard. No super hard work on any muscle group except for your heart and lungs!
Tomorrow I am planning on doing one of the videos I have though I’m not sure which one. I may try something different this time. I have quite a few videos to choose from, many of which I’ve never even peeked at! Whatever I do, it will hopefully not be so overheated as my attempt at DDR tonight. That was just bad.
Food was pretty good today. I was only one P+ over my limits today, and then I earned the 3 Activity Points, so I’m good. I should have eaten more fruits or veggies, but what’s done is done, and there’s always tomorrow. Here’s today’s food diary.

I’m also thinking of trying something different instead of posting a food diary every day. Maybe something like this?
Mostly I just want to do something different than the actual “what I ate today” crap (because its really boring most days) and I think something like this will cover the main purpose of the food diaries without being, well, an actual food diary. What do you think?
