Wednesday Day 425 Food Diary

I’m making this post in the middle of the night when I should be sleeping because y stomach is upset and I can’t seem to fall asleep. Tonight Mattie’s mom was with us along with his brother for an early Christmas. We went out to dinner at Barone’s, where I ate way too much pizza, probably the source of my now upset stomach, and then came home for a gift exchange. I looked up a few nutritional values for similar pizzas, but there’s so much variance between them that who knows what damage was actually done. I did get tea instead of alcohol or a soda, and stuck with only veggies on the pizza to minimize the damage, but the scale is sure to be up a bit in the AM.  I did do good on food up until that point, and had saved most of my calories for dinner, but I still think I ate moe than my whole days worth at that meal anyway.

I’m not proud of doing that, but I know it could have been a lot worse. Pizza and cookies are two foods I have no self control with. What I should have done was ordered the Ceasar salad, which while also high in calories, would be gone before I reached the same level of intake as the pizza. Two weeks ago I did so good with my eating and had a great loss- last week was pretty bad, and this week has been about the same. I have plans tomorrow to tear apart an unfinished sewing project and make it into something else, do my walk/run around the neighborhood, which I have already mapped out with the hopes of pushing myself a bit harder then the last few times, and I have a few things I want to do around the house as well- namely vacuum and put the laundry away before it sits in the basket all week.

Friday Day 420 Food Diary

Good evening friends! How are you tonight? Good I hope. :) Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for us, as we’re going to some off-roading toys for tots charity thing up in Gorman, which will probably take most of the day. For each toy you donate, you get a lunch ticket, and a raffle ticket. We’re bringing two small LEGO kits, because what kid doesn’t love LEGOS? Anyway, it should be a fun day but its going to be cold- we’ll be 3,000 feet higher in elevation then we usually are and itis December after all! It’ll be nice to get out and do something together though.

Mattie finally got his car back today. It was done at the boy shop a week ago, but the insurance was lax about writing the check to the shop, so they couldn’t release the car to him until they got it. He got halfway home with it, made a stop, and the battery, which was needing replaced anyway, gave up the ghost. I had to go out and give him a jump so he could get home, and then he had to get a new battery for it. Still, totally glad he has it again because it means he doesn’t have my car anymore and I’m not stuck at home all day unless I walk somewhere.

Wednesday Day 390 Food Diary

Good evening friends. I had an appointment with my psych doctor today, and I also needed to reschedule another appointment, which I believe is for my yearly review at the mental health office. I got there and checked in, then asked about rescheduling my appointment. The woman with who my review appointment was with apparently is the only one in the office who makes her own appointments so I had to meet with her directly to reschedule, but I did get it taken care of. I bet you’re tired of reading the word “reschedule” now too, right? My appointment with my doctor went well. Nothing changed and I’m on the same medications so I’m set until the next time I go in. Hopefully this next six weeks will go smoothly as the last six did.

Not much else happened today. I did a tiny bit of Christmas shopping, and picked up something for myself. What did I get? I got Dr. Schulze Intestinal Formula #2. You might remember me ordering and trying out Dr. Schulze’s – Dr Schulze’s Intestinal Formula #1 about two months back. Since I ordered it back in September, I have taken one capsule after dinner every day. And every day I have a normal bowel movement. Before I started taking that, I was only having one maybe every 7 to 10 days and it was always really difficult. Now its easy, painless, and more importantly, regular. So what’s with the formula #2? This one is supposed to clear out all the old stuff that’s really impacted into your intestines and colon. There are success/horror stories on the internet about people literally being stuck on the toilet all night long and after spending a week taking this formula, being 20+ pounds lighter. I’m not expecting anything that dramatic but I am hoping it really clears something out.

Wednesday Day 292, Thursday Day 293, & Friday Day 294

First off, I am super, super sorry for not posting for three days and for not doing any reading (or commenting!) on any of your blogs for even longer than that. I’ve been in a major slump of sorts the last week or so, and making my daily posts here has not been a priority even though it would only take me ten minutes too do it.

I haven’t worked out in over a week. I’ve barely managed to vacuum the house the last two weeks. Laundry has stagnated in the basket until we’re pretty much completely out of clothes. I’ve barely managed to feed us dinner, and have even slacked on grocery shopping. The dogs have complained about late dinners all week. I just haven’t wanted to do shit.

What the heck have I been doing? I’ve been reading a lot. I worked up a new beading pattern and I am nearly done with a pair of earrings and a necklace from it. I’ve also watched an insane amount of The Big Bang Theory with Mattie- we’re in the first bit of season three now. I’ve also edited and listed a few more beading patterns for sale in my shop.
