Day 90

I tried out a hodge-podged recipe for rutabaga hash this morning, which I posted earlier. Very tasty! It’s a good thing because I’m getting more rutabagas in the box tomorrow. Heck, I still have half of the one I cooked up this morning. Its actually a pretty good box we’re expecting, with apples, lemons, pears, arugula, collard greens, lemongrass, onions, potatoes, rosemary, rutabagas, turnips, & acorn squash.

I also did the next week’s worth of shopping, basing my list off of the dinners I plan to make. Starting with tomorrow, I’ve got everything I need for everything on the menu through Thursday. I’ll still probably end up mixing up the veggies a bit between now and then. That’s one thing that while I can plan it and say it’s what will happen, it always ends up up in the air until the last minutes.

Dinner tonight was Chicken Helper Fettuccine Alfredo, with carrots. I also attempted to fix an acorn squash but it didn’t turn out well. Oh well, I ate the tasty parts.

After dinner, we drove over to a friend’s and played pool on their new table until about 2am. I had a doughnut while we were there. Then we drove home and went straight to bed.
