Deb’s cooking is where I house the recipes we’ve (my boyfriend Mattie & I) tried and enjoyed. Most of them come from somewhere else, always credited if I know the source, but are often heavily modified to suit our tastes. Quite a few of these involve some pre-made ingredient. I’m not a cooking snob, so if you’re looking for 100% from scratch recipes, you may want to look somewhere else.
I’ll add to this as I try new ones out. I’ve broken them down by category as well as I could. Meatless just means meatless- it doesn’t mean vegan- Just no meat.
We’ve gone through the 100 Best cookbooks and found several recipes we both liked, and now I’m scouring the internet looking for others. If you have a great recipe you’d like t share, feel free to email it. I’d love to check it out.
We also receive a box of fresh, organic, locally grown produce every week delivered to our front door by the wonderful folks at Abundant Harvest Organics. What goes into the box each week isn’t up to us, which makes for some interesting meals sometimes- I often encounter an entirely new vegetable and have to learn how to prepare it.
I will update this site every time we have a new recipe to share with you, hopefully at least once a week. And sorry for the lack of pictures right now- It seems like by the time I remember to take them, we’ve already eaten most of it. Maybe I should just post pictures of our empty plates instead?
